Anne M. Werker is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Estates and Trusts Law. Anne’s practice and experience covers an extensive range of estate and trust issues, including planning, administration, and some dispute resolution. She has provided advice to parents, children, spouses, trust companies, government agencies, accountants and lawyers related to the duties of an executor, trustee or substitute decision maker; and the entitlements of beneficiaries.
Anne was called to the Bar in 1993. She has an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School; a B.A. from the University of Toronto; and an M.A. from Queen’s University. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Anne has published several academic articles, written educational materials for the Canadian Bankers Association, and has made numerous presentations on estate and trust law issues to colleagues and client groups, including:
